Bus Lease - 3/18/26

LEGAL NOTICE

INVITATION TO BID

 

Sealed bids for the lease of school buses by Liberty Community Unit School District #2, Liberty, Illinois, will be received by the Board of Education at the monthly Board meeting on March 18th, 2026, until 6:00 P.M. Bids will be opened and read aloud at that time.  Bids will be considered for the lease of two 71-passenger gas school buses, equipped as specified, with delivery prior to August 2026.

Bid Specifications will be available at the Transportation Department located at 505 N. Park St., Liberty, Illinois 62305 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, beginning  Monday, February 23rd, 2026

The Board of Education reserves the right to reject all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities, errors, or irregularities in bids received or in the bidding process, and to accept the bid that the Board of Education deems the most favorable to its interest after all bids have been examined and canvassed.

Fuel - Diesel and Gasoline - 3/6/26

LEGAL NOTICE

INVITATION TO BID

 

The Board of Education of the Liberty Community Unit District#2 is taking bids for gasoline and diesel fuel for April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027.


All bids should be submitted by 2:00 p.m., March 6, 2026, to B.J. Fessler, Transportation Director; 505 N Park St., Liberty, IL 62347. All bids must be sealed and marked "Bids." Bids will be considered at the March 18, 2026, meeting. Contact the Transportation Office at 217- 645-3416 for specifications and instructions.


The School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities in bidding and to accept the bids deemed most favorable to the District acting with the scope of the Legislative Act No. 1264, Paragraph 10-20.21 of the School Code of Illinois, 1988 Edition.
